Carl yanks his jobless/homeless pal out of the bar he's living in and invites him to temporarily crash on the couch--that's just what friends do. At first, Carl is quite pleased to have his good buddy as a permanent couch guest, while Molly bears the brunt of Dupree's immature antics. But, as Carl becomes buried in his grown-up job, he finds it harder and harder to juggle Dupree and his responsibilities as a husband. To make matters worse, Dupree uses his ample spare time to become a great companion for Molly. Even her dad and the neighbors are falling for his carefree wisdom and charm--frustrating Carl to no end. Soon, everyone (but Carl) begins to root for Dupree to stick around. But as Dupree starts to become a fixture in the Peterson's home, three becomes not just a crowd--but a full blown, hilarious catastrophe.

Rocky Balboa
Movie directed by:
Sylvester Stallone
Film produced by:
Irwin Winkler, Robert Chartoff, and Sylvester Stallone
Film starring:
Sylvester Stallone, Burt Young, Milo Ventimiglia, Antonio Tarver, and Geraldine Hughes
This new Rocky movie is all about what?
(Information taken from this site and this site)
An aging Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement, intending to fight a few low-profile local fighters. He is approached to fight a match with the reigning heavyweight champion, and soon his comeback sets off a media firestorm.
Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has now been retired for some time, but hard-up for money, he decides to step back into the ring against a few small-time boxers. Everything changes, though, when Rocky is offered the opportunity to step in with the reigning Heavyweight Champion, Mason "The Line" Dixon. Does Rocky still have what it takes to make another Championship comeback?
Rocky Balboa is now a fifty-something widower running a small restaurant in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the World Boxing Heavyweight Champion, Mason "The Line" Dixon is the dominant force within his sport. Lonely, Rocky feels the ring beckon him once more and he knows he must return to the sport that he loves.
'Rocky Balboa' examines one of America's greatest icons at a vulnerable period in his life--middle age. A former heavyweight boxing champion, known and renown throughout the world for going the distance, Rocky finds a new venture: giving back to his community. This is where he, once more, finds himself at the opposing side of opportunity, not unlike the one he has seen decades ago. Heavyweight champ Mason Dixon and his representation offer Rocky a shot for the title. For Balboa, it'll be one last hurrah he'll never forget.....but with his glory days far behind him can he withstand the inevitabilities of what's to come? A look at going full circle and wanting more, when life turns out how you least expect it and then some.
In this new installment of the Rocky series, Rocky Balboa returns to the ring to fight the present world champion... It's been many years since Rocky Balboa has been in the ring. Through that time his wife Adrian died of cancer, and he and his son, Rocky Jr., have been growing apart. Rocky owns his own deli, and people will come in just to hear his stories. Now ESPN is holding these virtual boxing matches pairing up fighters from different eras, it is a competition. And in the end it showed that if there was a match between "Young" Rocky and the champion Mason "The Line" Dixion, Rocky would win. Seeing this virtual fight makes Rocky remember how much he misses being in the ring. He doesn't miss the winning part, he misses the sport. So he re-registers for his license... This creates a media firestorm, and who should hear about it but Mason himself. Paper View wont pay him anymore because they believe that he is fighting all second rate fighters, and that he's a "paper champion". So his people suggest a fight between him and Rocky. Dixon agrees... The opportunity is brought to Rocky who at first is a little cautious at first, but soon agrees also. Now it is a Battle of the Ages. A true battle of Will v.s. Skill. With the help of Paulie, Tony (his old trainer), and of course his son, it is truly, his final countdown.

"Pirates" Reviews Mixed Ahead Of Key Debut
By Bob Tourtellotte (Yahoo!)
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Widely hyped movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" drew mixed reviews on Wednesday ahead of a weekend debut that Hollywood is anxiously awaiting for a boost to its solid but uninspiring summer box office.
"Too much of what was a good thing," a Los Angeles Times headline said of Disney's swashbuckling sequel, although the full review described the film as "intermittently fun and high-spirited."
The Hollywood Reporter called the special effects "envelope-pushing" and praised Johnny Depp's performance as quirky pirate captain Jack Sparrow, but it panned the story in which Sparrow confronts the evil Davy Jones.
On the Web site rottentomatoes.com, which compiles reviews, the movie scored a 68 percent "fresh" rating.
Richard Horgan, film commentator for Fandango.com, said one of every three advance tickets sold by the online ticket service this week was for "Dead Man's Chest." That is roughly twice the rate posted by its precursor, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," in 2003.
"Personally, I think it's going to be a monster" at box offices, he said of the sequel.
Hollywood needs a huge hit after a string of major films -- "Mission: Impossible III," "The Da Vinci Code," "X-Men: The Last Stand" and "Cars" -- racked up solid box office but fell short of the eye-popping business generated by the "Spider-Man" and "Star Wars" movies.
Similarly this past week, "Superman Returns" opened over the long Independence Day holiday in the United States to a final tally of $108 million in its first week, according to the Warner Bros. film studio. The number was good, but not super.
"PIRATES" TO THE RESCUE?
"It has not been an exciting summer," said Brandon Gray, president of Boxofficemojo.com. "There is no major blockbuster everyone can get behind. The hope is that 'Pirates' is that blockbuster."
To date, U.S. summer movie ticket sales stand at roughly $1.84 billion, up 2.3 percent from last year but down 9.5 percent from 2004, according to Exhibitor Relations Co. Inc.
Moreover, movie attendance as measured by the number of people buying tickets is down about 1 percent from 2005 and off 15 percent from 2004.
That is an ominous sign because the summer movie season, which runs from the first week of May through August, is typically used by Hollywood to launch its most expensive movies and accounts for as much as 40 percent of total annual ticket sales.
The success of "Dead Man's Chest" is especially pivotal. There seem to be few movies in the next eight weeks capable of matching the commercial clout of 2005's July-August combination of surprise comedy hits "Wedding Crashers" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin," which ended up grossing $209 million and $109 million, respectively, box office watchers said.
Despite "Crashers" and "Virgin," last summer's overall box office ended with revenues totaling $3.62 billion, down 8.5 percent from 2004's $3.96 billion, Exhibitor Relations said.
"Dead Man's Chest" is being released by the Walt Disney Co.. Warner Bros. is a unit of Time Warner Inc. Hollywood's other major studios are owned and operated by units of Viacom Inc, News Corp, Sony Corp (NYSE:SNE - news) and General Electric Co.

RV
Movie directed by:
Barry Sonnenfeld
Film produced by:
Bobby Cohen, Ryan Kavanaugh, and Aslan Nadery
Film starring:
Robin Williams, Jeff Daniels, Cheryl Hines, Kristin Chenoweth, and Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque
RV is a movie about (taken from this site):
An overworked Bob Munro, his wife Jaime, their 15-year-old daughter Cassie and 12-year-old son Carl are in desperate need of some quality time together. After promising to take them on a family vacation in Hawaii, Bob abruptly changes plans without telling them. Instead of a week in a tropical paradise, they're going on a road trip to Colorado in a recreational vehicle. Dragging his wife and kids kicking and screaming into the RV, Bob's togetherness plan (which is partly a ruse to keep him from losing his job) almost immediately hits a major speed bump. Everything that can go wrong, does. Bob's lame attempts to navigate the unwieldy, oversized vehicle are met with silence and scorn from his resentful family. The RV life is a far cry from their comfortable life in Los Angeles, and every attempt Bob makes to get them into the spirit of the vacation threatens to tear them further apart. At an RV camp, the Munro family is befriended by the Gornicke family--an irritatingly endearing happy-go-lucky clan of full-time RVers. The more they try to elude the Gornickes, the more their paths seem destined to cross. But adversity has a way of uniting even the most dysfunctional family members and each setback the Munros experience inadvertently helps them become a true family again.

The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King
Movie directed by:
Peter Jackson
Film produced by:
Mark Ordesky, Robert Shaye, and Michael Lynne
Film starring:
Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Liv Tyler, Viggo Mortensen, and Sean Astin
‘The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King’ is a movie about (from this site):Sauron's forces have laid siege to Minas Tirith, the capital of Gondor, in their efforts to eliminate the race of men. The once-great kingdom, watched over by a fading steward, has never been in more desperate need of its king. But can Aragorn answer the call of his heritage and become what he was born to be? In no small measure, the fate of Middle-earth rests on his broad shoulders. With the final battle joined and the legions of darkness gathering, Gandalf urgently tries to rally Gondor's broken army to action. He is aided by Rohan's King Theoden, who unites his warriors for history's biggest test. Yet even with their courage and passionate loyalty, the forces of men--with Eowyn and Merry hidden among them--are no match for the enemies swarming against Gondor. Still, in the face of great losses, they charge forward into the battle of their lifetimes, tied together by their singular goal to keep Sauron distracted and give the Ring Bearer a chance to complete his quest. Their hopes rest with Frodo, a tiny but determined hobbit making a perilous trip across treacherous enemy lands to cast the One Ring into the fires of Mount Doom. The closer Frodo gets to his final destination, the heavier his burden becomes and the more he must rely on Samwise Gamgee. Gollum--and the Ring itself--will test Frodo's allegiances and, ultimately, his humanity.

Over The Hedge
Directed by:
Tim Johnson, Karey Kirkpatrick
Produced by:
Bill Damaschke, Jim Cox, and Bonnie Arnold
Starring:
Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, Wanda Sykes, and William Shatner
And now, Over The Hedge, is over the edge in what? (from this site)
Just whose backyard is it, anyway? Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter's nap to discover that a large, green hedge has cropped up right through the middle of their once-natural habitat. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon who explains that the world beyond the hedge is "the gateway to the good life" where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live. "For humans," RJ proclaims, "enough is never enough." Suspicious and even a little jealous of the charismatic smooth-talking RJ, the ever cautious Verne wants to keep his blended family safely on their side of the hedge. But, proving the adage that one man's garbage is another man's--or, rather, animal's--treasure, the manipulative RJ has his own reasons for convincing the woodland band that there is little to fear and everything to gain from their over-indulgent new neighbors. Eventually, RJ and Verne form an unlikely friendship as they and their furry friends learn to coexist with--and even exploit--this strange new world called suburbia.

Who Killed the Electric Car?
Stars:
Phyllis Diller, Colette Divine, David Freeman, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Peter Horton, Alexandra Paul, Chelsea Sexton, Martin Sheen, and J. Karen Thomas.
And ‘Who Killed The Electric Car?’ would dwell on what kind of electricity then? (taken from this site)
With gasoline prices approaching $4/gallon, fossil fuel shortages, unrest in oil producing regions around the globe and mainstream consumer adoption and adoption of the hybrid electric car (more than 140,000 Prius' sold this year), this story couldn't be more relevant or important. The foremost goal in making this movie is to educate and enlighten audiences with the story of this car, its place in history and in the larger story of our car culture and how it enables our continuing addiction to foreign oil. This is an important film with an important message that not only calls to task the officials who squelched the Zero Emission Vehicle mandate, but all of the other accomplices, government, the car companies, Big Oil, even Eco-darling Hydrogen as well as consumers, who turned their backs on the car and embrace embracing instead the SUV. Our documentary investigates the death and resurrection of the electric car, as well as the role of renewable energy and sustainable living in our country's future; issues which affect everyone from progressive liberals to the neo-conservative right.

The temperature where freedom burns!
So who stars here?
Robert De Niro, Stevie Wonder, George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, James Baker III, Richard Gephardt, Tom Daschle, Jeffrey Toobin, Al Gore, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Saddam Hussein, George Bush, Ricky Martin, and Byron Dorgan.
And this documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11, burns on what? (taken from this site)
In this film, muckraker Michael Moore turns his eye on George W. Bush and his War on Terrorism agenda. He illustrates his argument about how this failed businessman with deep connections to the royal house of Saud of Saudia Arabia and the Bin Ladins got elected on fraudulent circumstances and proceeded to blunder through his duties while ignoring warnings of the looming betrayal by his foreign partners. When that treachery hits with the 9/11 attacks, Moore explains how Bush failed to take immediate action to defend his nation, only to later cynically manipulate it to serve his wealthy backers' corrupt ambitions. Through facts, footage and interviews, Moore illustrates his contention of how Bush and his cronies have gotten America into worse trouble than ever before and why Americans should not stand for it.

Steven Nicolaides, Jack Black, and Mike White
So what is Nacho Libre about? (Taken from this site)
Nacho is a man without skills. After growing up in a Mexican monastery, he is now a grown man and the monastery's cook, but doesn't seem to fit in. Nacho cares deeply for the orphans he feeds, but his food is terrible--mostly, if you ask him, a result of his terrible ingredients. He realizes he must hatch a plan to make money to buy better food for "the young orphans, who have nothing" (and if in doing so Nacho can impress the lovely Sister Encarnacion, that would be a big plus). When Nacho is struck by the idea to earn money as a Lucha Libre wrestler, he finds that he has a natural, raw talent for wrestling. As he teams with his rail-thin, unconventional partner, Esqueleto (the Skeleton), Nacho feels for the first time in his life that he has something to fight for and a place where he belongs. As Lucha is strictly forbidden by the church elders at the monastery, Nacho is forced to lead a double life. Disguised by a sky blue mask, Nacho conceals his true identity as he takes on Mexico's most famous wrestlers and takes on a hilarious quest to make life a little sweeter at the orphanage.

Mission: Impossible III
Where do Oscar-winning actors go now that they’ve earned the gold statuette? Right into tormenting Tom Cruise in M:I: III. Apart from new villain Philip Seymour Hoffman, other fresh faces joining the franchise are Keri Russell, Billy Crudup, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Michelle Monaghan and Laurence Fishburne. Taking over the writing and directing duties is JJ Abrams, off hot shows Alias and Lost. Wonder if this is a big budget movie…
X-Men: The Last Stand
The mutant sage continues, with the very existence of the X-Men and their ilk in peril and Magneto and Professor X renewing their mortal combat, intellectual division.
The awesome characters are returning, along with the movie’s casting director with the uncanny ability to cast hottie actors in the new roles of Angel (Ben Foster), Callisto (Dania Ramirez), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), and Collusus (Daniel Cudmore).
Also in: Beast (Kelsey Grammar), and Juggernaut (Vinnie Jones).

The Da Vinci Code
The movie version of Dan Brown’s controversial novel (still a bestseller three years into its release), takes a bigger risk more than any stunt Tom Cruise or Hugh Jackman this summer blockbuster season.
It’s not a sequel, and its legion of fans will be dissecting every cast member and the explosive plot with a fine-tooth comb.
Which only means your butt in the cinema seat.

Superman Returns
Darker visions and an anti-hero mood may be the 21st century approach to superhero movies, but no one can deny that the truthful, just, and advocate of the American way Superman is the granddaddy of comic heroes.
“X-Men” and “The Usual Suspects” helmer Bryan Singer passionately believes in this tale of a refugee of the Planet Krypton, so expect an engrossing revitalization of the franchise, which picks up the story where 1979’s “Superman II” left off.
Filling in the very large cape is super good looking former soap opera actor Brandon Routh.
Yummy.

The Lake House
“Speed” co-stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock reunite in a cinematic remake of Siworae (Il Mare).
The Lake House is a romance that involves letter writing, time traveling, crying, and two very good looking people.
That’s enough for us.
Yey for Keanu and Sandra!

The Break Up
Jennifer Aniston.
Vince Vaugh.
Split ups.
New partners.
Engagements.
Doesn’t it feel like the tabloids wrote this story already, so here’s the movie version? What else do you need to know?
If the big screen chemistry of Jennifer and Vince, here playing a couple that breaks up but continue to live together, actually succeeds.

The Omen
Just when you thought it was dead, horror movies have return to invade the box office.
The original 1976 “The Omen” was a key work of the genre, and this remake could give modern viewers a classic taste of deep terror sans gore.
Young, American ex-pat couple Live Schreiber and Julia Stiles adopt a baby, after Stiles miscarries. As young Damien grows, could he be just a little odd or a child of the devil?
In a moment of poetic casting, Mia Farrow (who gave birth to Satan’s child in “Rosemary’s Baby”) plays mysterious Damien’s nanny.

United 93
The first movie to commemorate 9/11 on the big screen arrives five years later, and not without controversy. (Is it too soon to depict the tragic event? Will it exploit the lives of the victims?)
British director Paul Greengrass brought an “indie-European” energy to the blockbuster hit “The Bourne Supremacy”, perhaps making him the right choice to deliver a sober and clear-eyed account of what happened on United Airlines Flight 93.
Headed for Washington DC, but heroically diverted by the passengers to a Pennsylvania field, Greengrass uses REAL TIME (a la 24) approach and non-recognizable performers to bring an unsentimental but ultimately sadder remembrance of those who lost their lives, making this film a substantial document.

The Devil Wears Prada
Directed by:
David Frankel
Writing credits:
Aline Brosh McKenna
Plot outline:
A naive young woman comes to New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors, the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly.
Starring:
Meryl Streep (Miranda Priestly), Anne Hathaway (Andy Sachs), Emily Blunt (Emily), Stanley Tucci (Nigel), Adrian Grenier (Nate), Tracie Thoms (Lilly), Rich Sommer (Doug), Simon Baker (Christian Thompson), Daniel Sunjata (James Holt), Jimena Hoyos (Lucia), Rebecca Mader (Jocelyn), Tibor Feldman (Irv Ravitz), Stephanie Szostak (Jacqueline Follet), David Marshall Grant (Richard Barnes), and James Naughton (Stephen).
In the dizzying world of New York fashion, where size zero is the new 2, six is the new 8, and a bad hair day can end a career, Runway Magazine is the Holy Grail. Overseen with a finely manicured fist by Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) the most powerful woman in fashion Runway is a fearsome gauntlet for anyone who wants to make it in the industry.
To make Runway the fashion bible of New York and therefore the world, Miranda has let nothing stand in
her way S including a long line of assistants that didn¹t make the cut. It¹s a job no self-respecting person can survive, yet it¹s an opportunity a million young women in New York would kill for.
A stint as Miranda¹s assistant could blast-open the doors for recent college graduate Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway). More college drab than haute couture, she stands alone among the small army of ³Clackers² on staff at Runway superslim fashion divas clacking their stilettos down the halls of the magazine¹s Manhattan headquarters. But when Andy comes in for the job, it dawns on her that making it in this industry will take more than drive and determination.
And her ultimate test stands before her in head-to-toe Prada.
Miranda can spin the fashion world like a basketball but has a devil of a time finding and keeping a good assistant. Andy is completely wrong for the job. But she has something the rest of them don¹t: she refuses to fail.
To become the perfect assistant, Andy will need to make herself over in Miranda¹s image. Soon, much to her boyfriend¹s (Adrian Grenier) dismay, she can talk the talk, walk the walk (in flawless Manolo¹s) and never again confuse Dolce with Gabbana. But the more of life she sees through Miranda¹s eyes, the more she begins to grasp that Miranda¹s world is a fabulous but lonely one and that sometimes great success depends on great sacrifice but at what cost?

EW Ranks 'Passion' Most Controversial Film
from this site
Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" ranks as the most controversial film of all time, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The magazine ranks the 25 films that have most shocked, disgusted and divided moviegoers, in its June 16 issue, on newsstands Monday.
EW writes that Gibson's grisly depiction of Jesus' betrayal and crucifixion ignited "a culture-war firestorm unrivaled in Hollywood history." Despite or to some degree, because of the religious uproar, the 2004 film grossed over $370 million at the U.S box office.
Coming in second is Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" Kubrick's 1971 futuristic film is famous for a violent scene during which "Singin' in the Rain" is played. Reports of copycat crimes led to the movie's withdrawal from distribution in Britain.
Oliver Stone has the unique distinction of landing twice on the list: 1991's "JFK," ranked at No. 5, and 1994's "Natural Born Killers," at No. 8.
"The Da Vinci Code," now in theaters, charts at No. 13 for the debates spawned by its tale of a Catholic cover-up. Another recent film, "United 93," ranks at No. 16 because of concerns that it came too soon after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Also among the 25: "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Deep Throat," "The Last Temptation of Christ," "The Deer Hunter," "Basic Instinct," "Do the Right Thing" and "Kids."

CSI: New York's Aresanob
So what is Aresanob? Something that we would all like to find out.
I know this post may not be appropriate here for this is all about movies, but who cares anyway? This is my blog and I get to post whatever topic I would like to work on.
Anyway, I was going through CSI: New York episodes and here is what I found. If you just simply try clicking on Aresanob.com, maybe you'll know the answer. Love it to pieces! Makes me also want to watch it. Right now.

Flo (Motorama Show Car) – Jenifer Lewis
Plot (taken from this site):
En route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California, Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, finds himself unexpectedly detoured. He ends up in the largely-abandoned town of Radiator Springs on Route 66, which parallels the real-life town of Amboy, California. McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters, who help him realize that there are more important things than trophies, fame, and sponsorship. McQueen discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line.
It all starts with the final Piston Cup race of the year. Lightning McQueen (a hotshot rookie), The King (a respected veteran), and Chick Hicks (a ruthless cheater) are all tied for the series championship. A photo-finish tie between the three competitors leads to a final tie-breaker race scheduled one week later in California.
After the race, Lightning and his transport truck, Mack, begin an all-night journey across the country towards California. With Lightning sleeping in the trailer, four custom racers play a prank on Mack, causing the sleepy truck to doze off and Lightning to slip off the back onto the interstate highway. Lightning tries deperately to race after Mack but finds himself lost and alone in the middle of the night on rural Route 66. Lightning tries to make it back to the interstate but finds it difficult without any headlights. This speeding car with no headlights soon catches the eye of a small town sheriff. A wild police pursuit ensues, resulting in Lightning tearing up the pavement of the main street in a forgotten little desert town named Radiator Springs. Lightning is caught, impounded, taken to court, and sentenced to repair the street which he destroyed.
At first Lightning McQueen remains arrogant and self-centered, obsessed with nothing else but leaving Radiator Springs and getting to the race in California. After an escape attempt and sloppy road repair, Doc Hudson, the elderly local judge challenges Lightning to a race in the desert. If Lightning wins the race he gets to leave town. If Doc wins the race, Lightning has to complete his sentence and do the work Doc's way. Lightning laughs off this challenge as easy and races to a huge lead while Doc remains at the starting line. Lightning tries to take a tight turn in the dirt and flies off a bluff, getting stuck in a cactus patch just as Doc knew he would. Doc wins the race.
Over the next several days Lightning gradually learns more about the town and its residents. He becomes friends with a dim-witted but loyal tow truck named Mater and with a beautiful Porsche named Sally. Sally shows Lightning why she loves Radiator Springs. She also tells Lightning the story of how Radiator Springs once thrived on Route 66's bustling tourist industry that vanished after the interstate highway was built.
Lightning begins to like Radiator Springs but he remains obsessed with making that sharp dirt turn in the desert. Doc offers his advice but Lightning dismisses the old man's ridiculous notions. Then Lightning discovers that Doc Hudson used to be a great racecar, a three-time Piston Cup champion in the 1950s until a bad wreck ended his career prematurely. Once Lightning discovers Doc's secret, Doc tips off the media as to where Lighning McQueen has been all week and Lightning is quickly wisked away to California in a public frenzy.
Racing for the championship in California, Lightning can't focus as his mind keeps wandering back to Sally and Radiator Springs. He begins the race poorly but becomes revitalized after he discovers that many of his friends from Radiator Springs have come to the race to help him as his pit crew, with Doc Hudson (painted as his old #51 "Fabulous" Hudson Hornet) as his crew chief. Lightning races back into contention and pulls into the lead on the final lap thanks to finally understanding Doc's advice about making that sharp turn back in the desert. With the championship in sight for Lightning, Chick Hicks intentionally causes The King to spin into a horrific wreck. Lightning, remembering how Doc's accident ended his career, slams on his brakes just before the finish line and goes back to help The King. Chick Hicks wins the Piston Cup, but he is booed by the audience and Lightning McQueen wins the admiration of the fans.
Lightning decides to move to Radiator Springs, along with all of his racing operations. Thanks to Lightning's endorsement, Radiator Springs sees a huge boost in tourism and the town is saved.

A summary of the movie (taken from this site):
The X-Men, mutant heroes sworn to defend a world that hates and fears them, are back! This time, with the help of new recruits The Beast and Angel, they must face evolution itself in the form of their former teammate, Jean Grey. Possessed with the cosmic power of the Dark Phoenix, the resurrected Jean Grey has become a danger to herself, her mutant comrades, and the entire planet. To stave off this imminent threat to humanity, a potential cure is discovered and processed to treat -- and ultimately eliminate -- genetic mutations, once and for all. Now, as the battle lines are drawn, the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier, must contend with both Jean Grey's world-consuming powers, as well as the malevolent Brotherhood, a band of powerful mutants organized under Xavier's former ally, Magneto.
In X-Men: The Last Stand, the final chapter in the X-Men motion picture trilogy, a "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier (Stewart), who preaches tolerance, and Magneto (McKellen), who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test -- triggering the war to end all wars.
Mutants are on the verge of X-tinction, it seems, when US business Worthington Industries discovers a cure for mutation. This scientific breakthrough complicates and intensifies the battle - both physical and ideological - between Professor X's (Stewart) integration-friendly X-Men and the human-hating muties let by Magneto (McKellen)...

Before ‘The Da Vinci Code’ Was ‘Angels & Demons’
Possibly because of the success that “The Da Vinci Code” received, Columbia Pictures is now planning on making “Angels & Demons” into another movie hit. “Angels & Demons” was the first novel Dan Brown wrote before “The Da Vinci Code”. This book was published back 2000 and it was there where Robert Langdon was introduced.
As per the movie, a deal was already signed between Columbia Pictures and Akiva Goldman. Goldman is the Oscar winner screenwriter who did the writing for “The Da Vinci Code” movie version. Goldman would also be doing the “Angels & Demons” screenplay. This has been the only move so far. There were no decisions yet as per Ron Howard (director) and Tom Hanks (actor) coming back for this new one.

Running time: 121 min.
Summary taken from this site:
The film opens in a ruin in Mexico, where a young man finds the Spear of Destiny wrapped in a Nazi flag. He seizes the spear and becomes possessed, heading for Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles we see John Constantine perform an exorcism on a young female teenager; although he is successful he is unnerved by the boldness of the demon, who attempted to leave the girl's body to cross over into humankind's realm. After meeting a detective named Angela Dodson, who wants to know if her twin sister committed suicide, he uncovers a plot by Mammon, the son of Satan, to overthrow his father and reign over both Hell and Earth.
There are many worlds, according to Constantine, of which Earth is only one; it is a neutral place between Heaven and Hell, which have wagered on which can win the most souls among humans. Some humans are able to see the demons and angels who walk among them. Having lived with this ability since birth, Constantine was institutionalized as an adolescent and eventually committed suicide to escape the torment of seeing them but not being believed. Though resuscitated by doctors, he was officially dead for two minutes, which he spent in hell. Unfortunately for the young Constantine, time moves at glacial speed in the underworld: "Believe me, two minutes in hell is a lifetime." He has spent the rest of his life trying to win back God's favor by battling the forces of Hell, though his time on earth will be brief; Constantine has smoked 30 cigarettes a day since he was 15, and is now dying of lung cancer.
After incapacitating a room full of demons, Constantine moves on to stop Mammon from being born from Angela. With a taxidriver, Chas Chandler(Shia LaBeouf)'s help, Mammon is supposedly subdued, but soon after Chas is killed by Gabriel the angel after bragging about his talents.
Constantine eventually takes his own life a second time in order to win an audience with Satan, whom he informs of Mammon's plot in exchange for the release of Angela's sister from Hell. Heaven consequently accepts Constantine for his selflessness, and Satan, enraged at having lost Constantine's soul, revives him and removes the cancer from his lungs so that he can live on and prove whether he truly belongs in Heaven or Hell, having been forgiven for his twin-suicides. His fate now belongs to him, and in the end he is seen chewing gum, as opposed to smoking.
At the end of the film's credits you see Constantine visit Chas' grave saying he did a good job. When Constantine is about to leave the graveyard, Chas appears as an angel and is dressed as Gabriel was previously, implying that he is Gabriel's replacement.
